long story short. i heavily modified the float and float arm and was able to get the gauge to read where it should. WHAT A PAIN!! i wish whoever redid the tank would have used the correct parts in the first place! but I did get it to work dry testing it, now we'll see how it works on an actual tank of gas.............To be continued!
