i have restored a number of cars some i got cheap some cost more. in the end even with doing the work myself, i coulda just gone and bought one done.even the mustangs i have done where the parts are dirt cheap and easy to get in the end you got 25000 in a 13000 car. i do cuz i get satisfaction out of it and i love it and though i'm in the car business and a mechanic i will not restore for others because it's to hard to make money doing it. old cars can be expensive and thats the way it is. for some people it's a luxery to drive anything. i hope you find something that makes you happy.
