For the frame-after you clean it up-use POR 15 paint. POR stands for "paint over rust" and it works - been using it for years up here in the Wisconsin salt belt. I'd use 2 good coats and then you can paint frame any color you want. I think POR 15 comes in a few other colors now but I use grey or black. If there is rust in some areas you can't get at, just clean the loose stuff off and apply the POR 15. Like the POR guy told me - this stuff loves rust. John Z
