Have you tried the bench bleed first? Make a short line from the output of the master cylinder that fits back into the reservoir. Try to get it close to the bottom, and fill the reservoir with brake fluid. Now with master cylinder clamped in a vise, push the pushrod in to expel the air (bubbles out into reservoir). Upon release, the cylinder will suck back in some fluid. Add fluid as necessary, and keep stroking the pushrod until no air is expelled. Now remove and cap the line, place the cap on the master cylinder, transfer to the vehicle and carefully bolt into place and hook up the outlet hose to the splitter on the frame. At this point you can remove the master cylinder reservoir cap and fill it full, and do the standard three-pass bleed starting from farthest away.
