I belive there is a outfit in Calif that rebuilds them if they are slipping on the rubber ring, which is what it sounds like yours is doing, not uncomon to have that happen, can't seem to remember the name off hand, if know one else finds if frist, I will look around and see if I can get a name and # for you.....
