Thanks Chuck, Poor choice of words on my part ... I should have said "removed, but not hidden" meaning that it would be out of sight from folks looking inside the window at a car show. To be more specific, do you know if there is an aftermarket gauge (electric) that would be compatible with the original sending unit? If not, do you know what size sending unit goes into the block and whether or not it would be hard to find one for a mechanical sender? I could always pull mine out and match it up somewhere, but I just thought I'd check first to see if someone else has done it already. Thanks again.
