I would just LOVE to do a twin-engine twin-transaxle minivan (still room for a large fuel cell, etc!). I was thinking more of a pair of 2.5L turbo fours, but the Mitsubishi 3.0 liter V6 was used in TONS of these minivans, and it has genuine hemi heads. You could say you had a 6 liter Hemi 12-cyl. setup and not be lying! The extra 3 liter V6 would be DIRT CHEAP. The obvious way to synch them is automatic transaxles with full manual valve bodies both working from the same shifter. Somehow getting two manual shifter cables to shift from the same shifter would be great, but remember the rear one would be coming in 'backwards'. All of the 3 liter V6 minivans came automatic anyway. Twin engine + transaxles would get it closer to 50-50 weight distribution, so handling should be excellent once the weight is compensated for! And that unbeatable AWD launch, the whole reason why kids are so excited about the Mitsubishi Evolution and Subaru WRX STI. If those cars were front-wheel-drive, they wouldn't be any faaster than Dodge's own (front-drive) Neon SRT4 (which costs $10k less!). Even a 2000 rpm stall in both transaxles would launch pretty hard with AWD!
