There is a way to get a strait swap in to your rig using the later bb engine, you will need 2 727's to do it...... find a bb trany from 62 to 65 from any car ( front cases in bb's are all the same in those years) and find a sb truck trany from 62 to 65 and swap the rear case and brake from it to the bb trany. The sb truck trany's are hard to find, but not as hard to find as the bb truck trany's. It just depends on how much you can spend and what you can find.........
