IMHO you got a goobered up rebuild. U can take it back, will it be better??? Hmmm. Think the NAPA route would be best way but it will cost U.... PS you DONT SAND carb parts. If they are not cleaned of varnish you use a solvent. Easiest and fastest for small parts is lacquer thinner. But not for the carb body... assume it is sparkling clean anyway.
