Two size rear ends came in those Plymouths. BOTH are 3rd member type axle assemblies. The smaller is an 8 1/4 ", used in the 6 cylinder and some V-8s, and the others (including station wagons) used the 8 3/4". Best way to determine which you have is to get a gasket for an 8 3/4, and then crawl under the car with it and measure your pumpkin bolt hole spacing versus this gasket. If a match, you have an 8 3/4 rear.
