Paul Yes, I am using a timing light, but I cannot see the whole timing mark plate. I am assuming it has three marks. The 65 has a 383 and has 6 marks on it. The way it starts tells me it's too far advanced, but I want to be sure. I don't want to run it that far advanced, and it seems to flutter at higher RPM speeds. I have more time today to fool with it. . . The distributor is an aftermarket Mopar direct connection unit with the conversion kit, made for the 413 RB
