Arthur, I overlooked mentioning that the EASIEST part, of this whole operation is "your" using a hand drill, to drill-out the rivets, to separate the pot-metal section, of the vent assy, from the stainless steel section (which cannot be "chromed")---once you CONFIRM that a mechanical shop is equipped/ready to re-rivet-together that assy, after it's rechromed.
