Have gone to the underdash mounted push button switch also. In 10 yrs no problems. ALWAYS works. U must fabricate a small braket to hold it, EZ to do from some scrap sheet metal. Quick and dirty way is to wire it onto where yoiu want it (brake pedal presssure activates it) and use silicone adhesive to adhere it to the brace and around the wire.
