Hopefully the other post will help. But if you're unlucky like me you may need to rebuild the trans. My TF wouldn't work in reverse. The band had broken and had to be replaced. Also check the wire running from the N safety switch. Mine was broken and the previous owner just attached it to the firewall which allowed for the engine to start in any gear.
