I agree the issue is oil pressure. First place to start is the pump, but while you have the pan off, get some Plastigauge from the NAPA store and chcke your main and rod clearances. Cheap to do, and you also can look at the lower bearing shells as well. If scored or worn beyond the lead/tin coating, this will cause additional clearances. When the engine is cold, the oil is thicker and will hold pressure, but as it warms up it thins out and pressure drops (naturally). If your oil pump relief valve is stuck open, this could be the problem.
