Tim; The front steering assy was not designed to take that type of stress from turning and etc. Have you given throught to wire wheels and 225x70x14's ??? This way you keep the car in the period look and you have a worry free attaction. In 1957 a Plymouth (or Dodge) owner would have looked at a big Chrysler or De Soto with wire wheels and dreamed.
