Hi, My '59 has the D-500 383, single 4bbl carter carb. I may have the opportunity to "convert" to factory dual carbs. does anyone know if the cam (or anything else internally) was different between the D-500 and the super D-500? Or is it just the intake/carb swap? I SUSPECT my engine may have gotten a slightly higher performance cam during its rebuild by the previous owner because it seems to have that idle quality (but who knows, maybe it just needs some tuning/carb cleaning). Thanks, Lou
