Don't forget the RED and BLUE boxes either. Actually, the vanilla unit is the black one. Good for /6 and V8s. Has pretty much the typical components. The ORANGE box is a spec'd part that MOPAR performance sells, and the CHROME is the same thing for the visual crowd. These boxes have tighter tolereance components, so the high rpm retard that VRS sensors are known for is minimized. All the above are good to about 6000 rpm before they rev-out. The RED and BLUE boxes are high performance jobs with different circuitry that give higher rpm capability. I believe (working on my poor CRS memory here) that the RED box is good for 7000 rpm, and the BLUE box is good for about 8500. Lastly, there was a "special" box made for the race Hemis that was a big rectangular unit and that one will rev to 10k!
