The 331-354-392 intakes do interchange. The 331 and 354 were both low deck blocks and the 392 was a tall deck, however, the 392 heads were wider which allows them to use the manifolds from the 331/354. If they are still in the archived discussions, there are several posts concerning head swaping and the differences in water passages.
