Manual transmissions were available throughout the entire Forward Look era, though most prevalent in Plymouths and Dodges. Crank flanges changed after 1961, plus tail shaft lengths varied. Also gear ratios, bearings, etc. differed depending upon the engine and drivetrain combinations. I am not sure if front bearing retainer diameters varied during this era or if all reatiners from 1955-'61 matched all bell housing openings. Daven? Hank?
