Hank, you seem to know your way around early hemis so i would like to ask your advice. I have a 354 hemi out of a 1957 dodge 3 ton truck which has been described to me as a Chrysler industrial engine,block stamped VT 549,block casting #1619829-3, head casting #1733463-1. I am a complete novice when it comes to the hemi engine and i was wondering if you could tell me how i could go about making this engine more streetable without getting into $2500 aluminum heads etc.I have a cast iron 4bbl intake but my heads dont have the openings for the external water cross over.Thanks Al.
