Lee.....Do you have enough drum thickness that you could turn and SLEEVE the drum and then have it turned/ground back to nomina? THis might be the best way to go, if it works. Make sure that when you do this, that you give yourself about 0.002/0.003 thousands interference, and then heat the sleeve and dry-ice chill the drum before pressing together to get a really tight fit.
