You are correct that the Fury "borrowed" the Canadian poly 303 engine. This engine was the unit that supplanted the Dodge 241/259/270 engines(with poly heads). It was designed and initially built in Windsor,Canada (at the still-existing Windsor engine plant) in 277, 301, 303, 313, 318, and 326 CI displacements. As you have a Canadian truck, my guess would be that the Canadians tried to use local content for their builds, and therefore only used US poly/hemis when either they neede an engine of a rating they did not produce, or due to exchange of engines to level out production volumes. I would expect that all "A" poly parts would be similar, differing only in piston/rings for bore and stroke/compression height differences, and with the early 277/301/303s maybe the con rods. Obviously head gaskets will vary with bore diameter due to the fire ring.
