Alas I screwed up again and didn'y take a picture before I took the motor mounts off. I'm rebuilding a 318 in a 58' Belvedere. The part of the motor mount that bolts to the engine can be bolted on either toward the front or rear of the engine and this will make about a 1" difference in their location. I cannot find a clear detail in my manual as to which way they go in. Does anybody know? I am also wondering about the orientation of the rubber section of the mounts. The bolt is offset from the center. Is this supposed to go up, down, or sideways? Any info on this installation would be appreciated!
