Kenny: I solved the under power with my 57 Custom Suburban by replacing the L6 3sp. with a 77 Dodge 400bb and a 727auto. No more problems going uphill. This is the same combo that I have used in my 55 Savoy for over 10 years now without a problem, and that is the car we tow our trailer down to Carlisle each year with.
