This may sound simplistic, but I had the same thing happen to my 58 Savoy. I replaced the pump, checked the lines and had previously rebuilt the carb. Finally, I dropped the gas tank and lo-and-behold..the tank was rusty and the rust had clogged the intake. After a tank rebuild and cleaning, the car ran fine. Have you checked the tank yet? Chris
