Well,on that blue '61 Belvedere I had years ago,I took the armrest bases off,filled the cracks with Bondo (and a coat of Bondo all across the surface to take out the warpage) then repainted them blue and put the pads back in. Of course the bases were slightly larger than stock when done,BUT they looked good and it saved hunting down NOS pieces.
