While disassembling a '59 Impala four door sedan, I liberated an excellent, but dusty razor knife from the "well" where rear window glass seal rode. When I disassembled my '59 Impala four door hardtop for restoration, I removed the floor "build up" panels. These are false floors used to level the area under the carpet. This is an LA-built car that spent its entire service life in Phoenix and then Las Vegas. When I removed the original carpet, sound proofing and build up panels, I found a 1959 penny and three unused trim screws. They were clean and uncorroded. I may return them to the same spot with a note sealed in plastic bag dating my restoration and how I found those items in there.
