Thanks...but I'm not sure if yoru questions with regards to fuel, altitude, etc., are completely relevant. It didn't knock at all before I installed the distributor. The total mechanical advance was about 25-30 with the stock dist, and the total advance now is about 30-35 with the Mopar Performance dist. Nothing else has changed (fuel, compression, altitude...) -------------- It just seems that I thought it would run better with an electronic dist and it knocks now where it didn't do so before. Should I run without the vacuum advance for this application? It seems to eliminate the knocking. Or should I set the dist curve back to stock settings? Is it advancing too much now? Thanks, I know this isn't easy to figure out sight unseen...
