I know the manuals call for Type"A" suffix "A"and that it may be available someplace, but I also Know that it was made with whale oil back in the 50's and that wouldn't be the case now, so its not the same stuff. So what do you guys recommend? Is it OK to use Dexron 2? I used it for many years in a Strato-Flight Hydromatic without any problems. Any thoughts?
