One of my friends owned a '59 DeSoto Diplomat 2dr hardtop until about 3 years ago - a '59 Plymouth Sport Fury shell with a '59 Chrysler (I think? It's that long since I've seen the car) front end. Car was gorgeous - best of both worlds for the '59 for me.
