Dave, Yes the easy off does take it right off, spray the part (off the car of course) let sit for 10 or 15 min, rinse it, i then use oooo steel wool then whatever metal polish you like. You will be able to tell with the polish if there is any anodizing that u missed, if so re spray it and do it again. Brad Harbold
