Dave, Thanks for the response. Do you know what the gas mileage was originally suppose to be on the automatics vs. manuals? Would swapping in a manual tranny from another Fury/Belvedere be worth the trouble? Did any domestic cars from this era have more than 3 gears?? Also, do you know what my RPM should be at 65mph with the Torqueflite? From the sound of the motor, I would say somewhere around 3000rpm, but I don't have a tach in her. Thanks again. -Scott
