Interesting stuff guys. Ages ago I was watching a TV programme about the '59 Cadillac and, guess what ? Pretty much the same story came out. Something like the designs being well advanced along the lines of a bigger heavier and fatter looking development of the '58 Cad. Bearing in mind that car designs were done two or three years ahead of their model year this must have been around 1957... and it seems that Cadillac folks went and peeked at what Chrysler were doing. Rushed back and trimmed a whole lot of fat off the their '59 line. So THAT's why the '59 Cad looks so good. Doesn't it just figure? Best regards, Gavin
