I have questions concerning Plymouth's torsion bar suspension. I'm sure the first year for this was 1957. When was it changed to coil springs? How does the torsion bar suspension compare with the traditional coil spring? Did the torsion bars ever weaken from fatique and if so, what did one do - replace them or adjust them? Any information anyone can provide on this type suspension will be appreciated.
