On page 405 of the 57-58 Plymouth Service Manual it shows a picture of this tool. I made one and it worked ok. Whats kind of tricky is that the clip stays with the crank when crank comes off. The picture of this tool shows dimensions. I do not have a scanner otherwise I would send you a picture. Maybe someone else on list can.
