The 318 which was over heating in my 58 Plymouth was damaged and now has a rod knock. The shop that did the work has agreed to repair it. I have bought a new block and cylinder heads. I intend on reusing my crank shaft since it was in good shape and should only need polishing. I would like to know if the later model 318 connecting rods are interchangable with the Poly. Also, has anyone found an after market camshaft supplier for the Poly? I used a stock cam on this last motor and I am interested in improving performance without getting a real rough idle. Thanks
