For the C-body brake swap,either way will involve machining. I preferred using the original control arm,because it's (ha ha) 'easier' to modify it to take the later ball joint than making the later control arm line up at the upper mounts. Really no easy way out on this swap. You could do the AAJ kit (start to finish!) in less time than it takes to get the holes modified in the control arms alone. Not to mention that the AAJ way you wouldn't even have to realign the front end....
