If the funeral home actually got a Fleet Special Suburban (a slightly decontented Deluxe Suburban), then it is quite possible that the emblems were never on the car. Fleet Specials sometimes had other notable deletions such as the right side sunvisor and the cigarette lighter. Possible deletions varied from order to order,of course. ONE thing is true,the Fleet Specials were all factory-delivered with 'pie plates' unless the order specified (in advance) full wheel covers. Never say never,though,I have a factory picture of a Sport Suburban with 383 Sonoramic Commando emblems on the fenders,and it had 'pie plates' on it (likely removed by the dealer when it got there!) a
