hey, thanks to all who replied, as for the tranny flange being different, i knew that, i just needed to knwo if the crank itself would fit. i am going to build the poly w/ the newer crank and use an a-500 or a-518 tranny. i have figured out a way to shift it w/ the push buttons, didnt someone a little while back ask about shifting this tranny w/ the buttons? does anyone remember who it was? wonder if he ever figured anyting out. anyway, thanks for the help, i'm sure i'll be back again.
