The big block swap is easy for a v-8 car. read further down the forum for more info. If you use a pre-63 tranny, you can use your pushbuttons. If you have a pushbutton three speed tranny, it is a torqueflite. Why reinvent the wheel and swap another torqueflite in place of a torqueflite? Maybe I missed the point of the question.
