I recently purchased a 56 Belvedere with the 277 V8. My plans are to put a 354 Hemi into it. Now I know the 270 uses the hemi block so I assume the mounts are the same, but from what I've read the 277 uses different mounts because the block is not the same as the hemi block. Does anybody know what the differences are (if any) between the 270 & 277 engine mounts? Also if the 277 mounts won't work then will 270 engine mounts work for a hemi or do I need dodge hemi mounts?
