Please try a seperate cable from the sensing unit to the gauge. It must work!!! It's a really simple circuit..It goes from engine ground to the sending unit housing and from the pin in the middle of the sending to the temp.gauge, to the connectors on one side and on the other side it goes to ignition...Thats it!!
