I recently picked up a '60 Fury with a 361 Sonoramic Commando. The engine and trans were pulled and rebuilt ca. 1984. At that time, it looks like they were repainted (but not the ram tubes and air cleaners)in would could be a '65 MoPar turquoise (I had a new '65 with a 426 Street that I think was that color). Some of the bolt heads and other small parts look like the turquoise is flaking off and showing red. Was that block originally red with gold ram tubes?Any ideas on what kind of red?
