Tom Mitchell's super-beautiful '58 Belvedere conv. with its 350 Golden Commando was featured in two recent magazines, the Mar.'99 issue of Mopar Collector's Guide (www.mcg-pub.com) and the Apr. '99 issue of Mopar Action (www.moparaction.com). The color engine photo on page 33 in the Mar.'99 M.C.G. would be most useful to you. The air cleaners are in the "Golden Lion" color, which the present Mopar Performance paint is a close match to (NOT exact, but good enough for a clone engine!). At least you'll know also what the air cleaners look like. They were last used in '62 on the 343 horse dual 4-bbl 383 (yours truly was trying to buy a '62 Plymouth police interceptor with this engine in 1985, but the owner wouldn't sell it even for top dollar!) "Very Rare" would be almost an understatement about the '58-62 diamond air cleaners, but again this board's wanted site would be as good a place as any to beg for them!
