I recently had the fuel gauge and sending unit rebuilt on my 59 Fury. I also put a new voltage regulatoron, and had my generator checked. The problem is that the fuel gauge doesn't hold steady. It jumps with the slightest jar of the fuel tank. Should it be this sensitive, is that typical? Or should it hold more steady, instead of jumping back and forth with the sloshing of the fuel?
