It has been my experience with ANY antique vehicle it is always a labor of love. There always seems to be continual maintenance and what-not involved. When you get into something like these cars there's good and bad that come with it. If you can accept some of the bad features & maintenance, and you already know what you like about the cars, weigh the two and if it still something you think you would enjoy, then give it a try....
