While working on brakes on my 59 Plymouth yesterday was going to replace 1/4" line coming off master cyl to 4-way block. Upon testing it was leaking where fitting goes into master cyl. Upon comparing old line with new line - discoverd old line fitting going into cyl is not threaded all the way to the end and new ones are thus not making tight connection. Ended up using old line. Does anyone know if these kind of fittings or lines are available or maybe by changing adapter in master cyl to fit new fittings would be the way to go? (I guess the tip here is don't throw away the old part until you know for sure that the new part will work). John Z
