All I have seen, except the Fury with the wrong gold V, were silver regardless of engine. The gold V might be wishful thinking.

BUT - I had this discussion with another member at Carlisle.  He has a  100 
point car with a gold V.  He said that he understood that the silver V  was 
used on the 318s and the gold V was used on the 350s.  My car is a  close to 
original 350, and I have a silver V.
