    There is no reason that these return  spring brackets would not fit the 
56 Fury 2 x 4 manifolds also.  They may  not have been available in 56, but 
they should still work.  I have seen the  brackets you are talking about and 
believe they would  work.
 
    If your fabricator can make  a run of about 200 sets, they should sell.  
I would like a set for my  56.
